OTHER WORKS
The "Other Works" not necessary belong to the "Geometric Romanticism" collection but emphasize in the greatness of the human been as a part of the story and the intensity of those feelings of fear or melancholy, the passion inside the character or the lonely soul embracing the visual impact of their own journey,
SKULL SERIES
The skulls are a symbol of power, death and longevity; the solid sculpture visualizing an end of something that was beautiful and plentiful in life and time. I was a little child walking and running in the forest in my grandfather's farms. The fascinating bull skulls are a unique and significant testimony of lost souls, the remembrance of happenings and thoughts about the meaning of passing by this world so complex and diverse.
DAVID SERIES
David is the masterpiece of Michelangelo's sculptures representing a hero en the Biblical story and was the favoured subject in the art of Florence.
It is also this symbol of victory, strength and beauty in all times that makes this piece a gift of eternity and glory.
I couldn't walk and pass the road without having that feeling of been trapped by that inspiring light, I had something to say, there was something else to discover on my own, a tenting call from ancient ghosts " do what you have to do but never ignore me" so I start my visual conversation that never ended...
